pancakes with maple syrup and butter

  • Mix all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar and whisk it.
  • Add some milk, oil and vanilla and mix gently until just combined.
  • Do not over mix it, but ensure that there are no lumps in the batter.
  • Allow the batter to rest for a few minutes.
  • Now heat a large pan over medium heat until hot and add some butter on it.
  • As soon as the butter melts, add it to the pancake batter.
  • Stir the batter properly to mix the melted butter.
  • Now heat a non-stick pan on medium flame for a few seconds and reduce the flame.
  • Pour a large ladle full of batter in the center of the pan, but do not spread the batter with the ladle.
  • Let it spread on its own. Cook the pancake over low or medium flame and you will notice some bubbles appearing over the pancake.
  • When the pancake turns golden in color on one side, just flip it over and cook for less than a minute and remove from the pan.
  • Prepare some more pancakes with the rest of the batter in the same manner. You can serve this with butter or honey or with some maple of chocolate syrup.

Once you have made the pancakes successfully, you can try some different eggless pancake recipes by adding carrots, chopped nuts, apple chunks or some bananas for different taste.
